In a rural Nevada mining town, decimated by wildfire, a female detective and a Native FBI agent must work together when the body of a Native American child with no known identity is found in the mountainous desert wilderness. As the town grapples to piece itself back together, the investigators struggle to solve to murder when the discovery of a second child leads to haunting questions with no answers.
